Why are liberals more confident?

Q: “Liberals are socialist" why are the dumbest people always the most confident?

A:  Liberals exude a certain confidence because they believe they stand on the
moral high ground – altruism. And altruism is the dominant moral code in our culture.

In the fight for capitalism we can’t just say it is the best PRACTICAL system – it is,
but that is not enough. We must also fight for it on MORAL grounds – we must
show altruism for the evil it is, and promote individualism and rational self-interest
as a MORAL ideal – which it is.
