THE CORONA VIRUS & THE GOVERNMENT’S ROLE

     Under pure capitalism it’s the government’s job to protect you from coercion by your fellow man. It is not their job to protect you from nature, to protect you from an excessive use of alcohol or to protect you from a virus.
     But it is the government’s job to protect you from people who would put your life at risk – drunk drivers and carriers of the corona virus.
     The tactics the government should employ to stop drunk drivers and carriers of the corona virus are beyond my pay grade.
